Step 2

Applying the pre-conditioning agents to the carpet hot early on in the process allows it time to bond with the soil particles and easier to remove afterwards. Our team has undergone extensive training to know how best to address your trouble spots. Spot removal is simply the removal of common marks such as mud, food, and grease.

Final Grooming

The finishing touch is the carpet grooming. This process maximises visual effect and helps with the drying time. Grooming the carpet is just another way Allamanda Carpet Cleaning shows you we care about the condition of your home.

A commercial carpet installation is a significant investment for any business both in monetary terms and overall facility image. Quite often carpets are neglected which not only dramatically reduces the life expectancy of the carpet but also the presentation of your business to your customers. A consistent and effective carpet cleaning maintenance program can maintain your facility image and extend the life of your carpet.

A customised carpet care program consists of 5 elements:

1

Soil Prevention

Preventing the transfer of soil is one of the best and most cost-effective methods to keep your carpets looking great and preventing damage.

  1. The use of mats – it is important to use both outdoor and indoor mats to keep dirt entering or spreading through the building.
Outdoor mats should be capable of scraping debris and have the capability to hold that material.
Inside mats should remove smaller particles of dirt, oils and liquids.
Mats that extend for 6-15 feet inside an entranceway will trap 80% of soil and moisture from the first 5 or 6 steps. Protective mats should be used around food stations, water coolers, elevators and stairs.
  2. Keeping Parking lots, sidewalks and entrances clean – regular hard surface cleaning will cut down the tracking of debris.
  3. Replace air filters and inspect air ducts for build-up of contaminants.

2

Routine Vacuuming

Routine vacuuming is the removal of dry soil from the carpet. Vacuuming your carpet regularly prevents this build-up and minimises the impact on the appearance of the carpet, as well as lifting the carpet pile. It is recommended that vacuuming should occur on a daily basis in a commercial environment.

3

Spot and Stain Removal

The longer that a spot or stain remains on the carpet, the greater the potential for permanent staining. Allamanda carpet cleaning recommends a timely response to ensure best results.

4

Interim Maintenance Cleaning

Interim maintenance cleaning is cleaning for appearance improvement, which can postpone or limit the need for a deep clean. Carpet Cleaning Kings uses the encapsulation cleaning process for our interim maintenance cleaning contacts.
Encapsulation is a highly efficient, very low moisture (VLM) carpet cleaning method, recommended for lightly soiled carpet and used as an interim between restorative cleaning. It leaves your carpet clean, fresh and quick to dry – allowing you to walk on within minutes!

5

Deep Cleaning

Allamanda carpet cleaning uses hot water extraction steam cleaning when required to complete a deep clean of commercial carpet. Deep cleaning is used to clean the carpet to a relatively clean condition and uses systems that extract soils and cleaning residues at a higher intensity to maximise results. Frequencies of deep cleaning depend on the effectiveness of maintenance, traffic intensity or manufacturers requirements.

Hot water extraction steam cleaning is Allamanda’s preferred method of cleaning and guarantees best results!

Full Service Treatment

These are difficult to remove. The removal also requires technicians certified by the IICRC.

What we need to do is entirely remove the odour, as urine is like 1000 times wetter than water, it goes through the carpet, through the backing through the underlay into the subfloor.

To fully fix the problem we need to attend to all affected areas.

First, we must pull back the carpet and remove the underlay, and smooth edge (carpet gripper to hold the carpet in place) if these are deemed un-restorable. We then treat carpets and then concrete with an antimicrobial solution and seal the concrete. Next, the carpet is flushed with hot water extraction steam cleaning and then treated with a urine neutralising solution, on both the backing and the surface of the carpet which will start to break down the salt deposits. Once we have agitated thoroughly (to break up the salt deposits.) We then flush and rinse them away with our hot water extraction cleaning system. We treat the carpet with a specialised bacteria treatment which is designed to digest the bacteria that is remaining within the carpet, and air movers are left overnight to dry the affected areas. Upon returning to the property, the underlay is replaced, and the carpet is relayed, the carpet is then steam cleaned and finally treated with a bacteria treatment, neutraliser and deodoriser.

Our Full Surface Treatment Cleaning Process

Step 1

Pull up the carpet.

Step 2

Remove and disposal of affected areas. Usually the underlay or smooth edge.

Above Surface Treatment

Our top surface treatment for Urine, removal is guaranteed to improve a urine odour problem. However, as we are not lifting the carpet to treat all affected areas accurately, we cannot be sure that it will completely remove the entire issue.

We offer this service because we understand that sometimes urine problems are a minor problem and it can be much costlier to remove and replace the carpet as we recommend for a full-service solution. With this treatment, we soak the carpet with a urine neutralising solution and bacteria treatment in the hope that it soaks down into the affected areas to break up all the salt crystals and digest any bacteria. After some dwelling time the carpet is agitated, and then our high-powered machinery will flush the chemicals further into the carpet, rinsing out the urine which is then extracted with our high-powered vacuum. Carpets are then cleaned, treated with an antimicrobial chemical, neutralised and deodorised.

Our Above Surface Treatment Cleaning Process

Step 1

Flood the carpet areas with a urine neutralising solution.

Step 2

Flood the carpet areas with an antimicrobial chemical to digest the bacteria.

Step 3

Agitate the carpet to break up all the salt deposits.

Step 4

Flush out the carpet with hot water extraction steam cleaning.

Upholstery Protection

Our Upholstery protector also helps prevent wear, and provides ultraviolet protection to reduce fading in sun-exposed materials (12-month guarantee) Upholstery protection will protect the upholstery from soiling, oil, water and dye spots. It is applied by spray application, dries quickly and leaves no odour. It is non-toxic and safe to use around family and pets.

Stain Treatments

Our professionally trained technicians are equipped with the knowledge and state-of-the-art products that can treat a large number of stains with our speciality stain removal service. Using an arsenal of safe and effective stain removal products with the most innovative equipment, Allamanda carpet cleaning can remove tough stains out of carpets, rugs and upholstery for good. Our technician will work on your stains using any necessary products and equipment charged at $44 per 15 mins.

Allergy Treatment

One major contributor to allergy symptoms is dust mites. This is a pet allergen that is ubiquitous to homes with pets. This common allergen causes adverse reactions in most people. Allergy symptoms range from inconvenient to life-threatening, and they all detract from the quality of the sufferer’s life. Professional allergy cleaning can rid your home of dust mites.

Odour Treatment

Upholstery can be a source of unwanted microbes and bacteria. Fungi can thrive in moist areas in your upholstery; these bacteria can create musty odours. Upholstery can trap dirt and spills within their fibres, which can lead to odours, staining, and deterioration if not cleaned and sanitised properly. If these unwanted and unhealthy microorganisms thrive in your upholstery, an anti-bacterial treatment must be done to remove them.

Urine Odour Treatment

When urine goes into a carpet, it does not simply evaporate. The urine leaves bacteria and salt deposits within the carpet, underlay, and subfloor. The bacteria and salt deposits are the cause of the horrible smell. What happens when salt deposits absorb moisture this then creates a reaction in which produces the odour. This could be through high humidity or perhaps another steam cleaner.

To successfully remove the odour problems the bacteria and salt deposits must be eliminated. If it is a mild case this can be done with a top-down treatment; however, severe cases the carpet may need to be lifted, treated and relayed back into position.

Vomit Treatment

Vomit is a large breeding ground for bacteria. The bacteria are the source of the odour. To effectively remove the smell of vomit and to sanitise your upholstery our special anti-bacterial treatment will be required.

Upholstery Sanitiser

Our Upholstery Sanitiser is a must to kill any bacteria that may reside within your upholstery leaving your home healthier and smelling better. The sanitiser contains three antimicrobial agents that help in reducing and controlling the growth of various fungi and bacteria. This treatment also offers odour counteractants that assist in neutralising diverse types of unpleasant smells. If your lounge chair, sofa or couch have been affected by bacteria (perhaps from children, pets, vomit or water damage), cleaning the upholstery without the antimicrobial agents may reactivate the bacteria and have your upholstery smelling worse than before.

Pet Oil Treatment

A lot of Australians consider the pet as an integral part of their family, which means that the pet lives inside the house and sleeps on the carpet, leaving pet oils and certain smells. If you want to reduce or remove the smell, we can offer the right solutions.
